Our tag line isn't the easiest way to sell shares for nothing. All you have to do is follow these steps:
Find a shareholding or dividend statement that contains your name, address, number of shares & SRN (usually a 10 or 11 digit number starting with the letter "I").
Place your sell order online through our website or call 1300 368 939 to sell by phone (individual holders only). Ensure you click "submit" after previewing your order and within seconds you will have an email receipt of your trade containing a reference number.
Within minutes* your shares will be sold on the market at the market price, unless you specify a limit price (*if submitted during market trading hours).
Shortly after the sale you will receive a confirmation email, then a contract note (tax invoice) in the post followed by the bank cheque for the sale proceeds (less our brokerage fee). Cheques are always posted 3 business days after the trade date.
